3 Platforms to Use to Help Boost Business Productivity On the Go
Running a small business is not easy. And anyone who says that it is must have an entire Army behind them helping them out!
Running a business with a household and a young family is even is an even bigger challenge. That’s been my life for the last year. I’ve had to change my mindset along with my work routine until I found a system that works. That system is all about productivity, whether in the office or out and about.
I have found a few apps that definitely will help you with your business productivity that you can use while sitting at your desk or while you're out.
ClickUp
Most of us have heard of the platform Trello as one of the best organisation platforms. You can create boards and lists on each board in order to stay organised on projects, to do lists, etc.
Clickup is Trello on steroids.
If you're a colour coder like I am, ClickUp it will be your jam. Create folders for particular clients with subfolders for each project and to-do lists with unique workflow systems so you can stay on top of your or your team’s progress. Easily attached files and connect to your Google account for supporting documents. You can even use ClickUp to send email.
What’s the ClickUp app like?
While you can't do everything that you can do on the platform when you use the app it's still really incredibly helpful to have the system there in place so that you can add things to any one of your to-do list while you're out and about
What about costs?
ClickUp is a paid platform, but the amount of time that it saves you to keep you organised and on top of your projects is definitely worth every penny.
Loomly
Loomly is what I use to schedule posts for all of my clients. You can use it to schedule on all the major social media channels, including YouTube and Google My Business. While there are some limitations (still can’t post a video to LinkedIn and Google My Business. Bit frustrating!), the layout and customer service make it very user friendly.
What’s the Loomly app like?
Many of my clients that are not at all tech-savvy find the Loomly app incredibly easy to use. All they have to do when they receive a notification about a post is tap the notification, check the post, and can either approve or add a comment at the tap of a button. From a post scheduling perspective, you can do nearly everything on the app as on the desktop platform, with the exception of editing images.
What about costs?
Loomly is also a paid platform, with the cheapest plan starting at 25 USD per month. If you’re getting serious about social media for your business it’s definitely a platform to check out.
Canva
Sure, everyone and their mother has heard of Canva. It’s the graphic design platform for people who are not graphic design aficionados. You can quite literally design anything. And their mobile app lets you design from anywhere.
What’s the app like?
Once you get the hang of how to use the app, it’s easy peasy to create anything to download straight to your phone.
What about costs?
While there is a free plan, I highly recommend spending approximately $100 to get the pro plan. You get access to so many more features plus millions of license-free stock images and video.
Business owners are getting increasingly mobile, and so our business processes and functionality has to come along with us. Hopefully, these apps help you! Know of an app we should check out? Let us know by contacting us below!
